Donate a Commemorative Tree or Donate to the Princeton Shade Tree Trust Reserve

There are Two Ways you can Donate a Tree-

You can purchase a Commemorative Tree, and select the type and location OR you may make a Donation to the Princeton Shade Tree Trust Reserve, for $25 or more, that will go toward planting trees in memory or honor of a person or event.  Both types of donations are tax-deductible.

Here are the details...

Donate a Commemorative Tree

The Commemorative Tree Program offered by the Princeton Shade Tree Commission provides residents the opportunity to donate one or more trees to be planted in municipal parks and public spaces in memory of or to honor a special person or event. Donations are tax-deductible. The program supports the Shade Tree Commission’s goal of increasing the municipal shade tree canopy, thereby enhancing and augmenting Princeton’s urban forest.

Donors work with the Arborist and the Shade Tree Commission to select the right tree, the right location, and if desired, a dedication plaque. A $500 donation is required to plant a commemorative tree. An optional plaque costs $500.
